Jimena Lozano García is an spanish architect in training with a solid academic background, international experience, and a strong commitment to social and cultural responsibility within the field of architecture. She began her studies at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in Barcelona, drawn by a desire to learn in a dynamic, multicultural environment. She is currently completing her Degree in Architecture at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, along with her Qualifying´s Master Degree and a Diploma in New Architectural Technologies. In addition to her studies in Madrid and Barcelona, Jimena has complemented her education with an International Workshop at the Politecnico di Milano and specialized training at the Royal Institute of Technology in Melbourne, broadening her academic perspective and global architectural outlook.


Throughout her academic journey, Jimena has consistently achieved outstanding results, reflecting both strong discipline and a genuine passion for architecture. Her design approach is grounded in rational logic and intuitive thinking, always seeking innovative, context-responsive solutions that add value and strive for excellence at every stage. This mindset has guided her participation in international competitions such as the Morocco Oasis Retreat Competition by Buildner, in which her project was shortlisted, 120 Hours, where her work was exhibited at the Munch Museum in Oslo, and Sueña Madrid, where her work was selected for exhibition too by Madrid City Council.


She is a native Spanish speaker, bilingual in English and German, and has intermediate knowledge of Catalan, which allows her to thrive in multilingual and collaborative environments. Her love for languages is closely tied to her passion for travel and cross-cultural learning—interests that continuously enrich her architectural perspective and deepen her understanding of how the built environment shapes communities.


Technically, she is proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, Rhinoceros, V-Ray, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro). Her academic training is complemented by specialized courses in AutoCAD, SketchUp Pro and Project Presentation at the European School of Architecture, along with international stays in Vienna, Bremen and Hannover.


Beyond her academic and professional development, Jimena maintains a strong commitment to social impact. She has volunteered in initiatives supporting a range of vulnerable groups, reinforcing her belief that architecture must be grounded in empathy, critical thinking and positive social impact.


Deeply committed to the architectural profession, she is known for her strong sense of responsibility, organizational skills and creative mindset. She approaches every challenge with discipline, curiosity and a desire to grow—qualities that guide her work and her vision of architecture as a lifelong vocation.
